Biography
Lukian Halkin
is a producer and film expert, Head of the Outsourcing and Co-Production Department at Suspilne, Executive Producer of the Suspilne Culture TV channel (2017-2024), co-founder of the Moviegram online media, and a film education lecturer.
Among his producer’s works (commissioned and in-house production): Big Russian Lies (2024, dir. Natalia Ponomariv, Oleksandr Nazarov, 6-episode documentary series), Carlos in Ukraine, (2023, work in progress, dir. Nikita Torzhevsky, 12-episode mockumentary fiction series), Smouldering. The Tree of Life (2022, dir. Nadiia Mikołajenko, short documentary. Cottbus IFF — non-competition programme), Shchedryk against “the russian world” (2022, dir. Oleksandr Nazarov, full-length documentary), Maidan: Six Letters of Our Freedom (2021, dir. Anna Yeresko, short documentary. Heart of Europe International TV Festival — 2nd place in documentary competition).
