Ravaged body of Ukrainian nature is the main character behind this visually and sound driven observational documentary. Silently laying bare the catastrophic impacts of war, nature resists and gradually heals itself.
Over the past years, in Ukraine, it has suffered from Russian aggression in unprecedented scale: destroyed and burned forests, endless craters of shell explosions, burned military vehicles, dangerous minefields and forgotten bodies of the Russian invaders lying silently in the ground. All bearing witness of past battles. Russian troops as an alien organism invaded nature, but were neutralized and pushed back. Nature tries to heal from its injuries by absorbing and transforming the remains of the war. Deminers, body searchers, ecologists, animal activists… are doing everything to measure the scale of the tragedy and restore lost natural resources.
