In the destroyed city of Izyum, Kharkiv region, Mount Kremyanets becomes an “island of communication” where people find mobile connection with their families after months of Russian occupation.

A short film about the town of Izium, located in the Kharkiv region. Izium was severely damaged during the warfare. Even after its liberation, the city remained isolated  public transport as well as mobile connection were not functioning. The highest hill in the city called Kremiianets became the only place where locals could catch a signal. After months of occupation, the hill turned into an "island of communication," where people could finally reconnect with their loved ones.
