Summer is the season for stock cars. The cars get ready for a long day of racing that will end in their total demolition. In the background, I recall the violent summer of my 18th birthday.
As I relate the story of the man who is slowly killing me, the cars become unrecognisable,
like a group of smoking but heroic wrecks.
Born in Paris, Camille Vigny graduated with a cinema degree from the University of Paris VIII. After visiting FAMU, the Prague Film Academy, as an Erasmus exchange student, she entered the film directing department at the INSAS school in Brussels (Institut National des Arts du Spectacle et de Diffusion). Crushed is her third short film. She is currently writing her first feature film.
