Incident reconstructs a Chicago police shooting from 2018, reassembling the event and its immediate aftermath from a variety of viewpoints, including surveillance, security, dashboard, and body-worn cameras as a continuous, synchronised split-screen montage.

He is best known for making the feature-length films Decasia (2002) and Dawson City: Frozen Time (2016). His most recent film, Incident (2023) won the International Documentary Association’s IDA Best Short Documentary Film Award of 2023 and the Best Documentary Award at the 2024 Clermont-Ferrand International Short Film Festival.
