Karine Riahi is a lawyer and co-founder of BRUNET RIAHI, where she leads the firm's entertainment and new technologies practice together with Julien Brunet. Karin has been in this business for over 30 years, assisting with financing film and audiovisual productions, negotiating and drafting contracts related to the protection of intellectual property rights, working with production companies and title chains in many sectors. She works with feature films, animation, documentaries, and other types of media. Karine has provided consulting services during film festivals in France (Cannes International Film Festival, Amiens Film Festival, Nantes Festival of Three Continents), and abroad (Cape Town, Johannesburg, and Ouagadougou during the Fespaco Festival). Karine also wrote a book devoted to royalties and audiovisual contracts, (published by the French Ministry of Foreign Affairs) and Les contrats de la production audiovisuelle (published by DIXIT).
