Last year, the Ukraine War Archive team first opened the access to its platform for public viewing. It was an exclusive and experimental event.
After receiving positive feedback and engaging new partners, we decided to open the access to the updated database and new Archive tools again. In particular, access to the database of Telegram channels which allow the user to trace the original post and see when and where a message was first published.
We will also present Linse, an instrument which uses AI to process video transcripts and helps with information search. Everyone will have a chance to see the Ukraine War Archive itself, which includes over 20 million different materials.
The guides to the Ukraine War Archive will be our analysts Yulia Tribie and Anton Tribie, who are the ones cataloguing the historic materials.
The event will be of interest to:
– human rights advocates;
– archivists;
– journalists;
– documenters;
– filmmakers;
– historians;
– researchers.
Opening hours: 1–6 June, 12:00–8:00 p.m.
