While Ukrainian warriors defend the country and society, their wives and partners wait for them at home. Their role during the war is often invisible, but significant and indispensable.
The wives and partners of soldiers have their own unique Path which is different from their partners’. They perform many important roles both during and after the men’s service. But often they do not receive proper support according to the roles they perform and the workload which they carry.
The Veteran Hub team has conducted the first study of the Path of the partners and wives of Ukrainian defenders: how exactly they experience the war, what is important to them, and how we can support them.

Olha Fokaf, chief analyst of the Path of a Warrior’s Beloved study
