Zhovten Cinema, 1st floor, 2–8 June
A gaze through a smartphone camera has become mundane. But video recording of the consequences of the war in Ukraine is sometimes associated with risk for the author of the video. We are in the epicenter of events. Every day, new photos and videos emerge in information resources from various Ukrainian cities, towns and villages, capturing our new reality. It has become possible thanks to the availability of smartphones and other video recording devices. Modern technology allows us to work with large volumes of metadata and to archive them. Media testimonies which we all generate together allow us to think about ourselves as a community connected by invisible digital and empathic ties.
Disclaimer: the work contains images of war that you have all seen.
