The Ukraine War Archive continues to be updated with evidence materials. Each filmed shot, each voice message becomes part of the resistance in the information field. From now on, the project is also accessible for the English-speaking audience and open to new partnerships. Here is what the main focus of our work will be during the autumn.
The Ukraine War Archive contains real facts about the russian aggression against Ukraine: thousands of photo, audio and video materials. It is important that journalists, researchers, human rights advocates, artists, and interested professionals from all over the world have access to it. So the project team has launched the English version of the website so that international users can learn about the initiative and become potential partners. We continue our preparation for potential collaboration with international human rights organizations, think tanks, media, and art communities.
“Unfortunately, the russian propaganda machine is so powerful that there is still a lot of wrong information about Ukraine in the world, about its relations with the Russian Federation. Despite our joint active and high-quality fight on the information front, western media, experts, prominent international organizations and initiatives continue relaying pro-russian nattatives. So we are also joining this fight for the truth. We expect the Archive to become one of the primary sources for research, investigations, court cases, and for the work of filmmakers and artists,” says Maria Buchelnikova, the project coordinator.
One of the initiative’s main goals is to tell the world the truth about the war which the Russian Federation is waging against Ukraine. In the near future, we expect to launch a new stage of project development: translation and subtitling of the materials in English. The War Archive team is open to collaboration with those who also defend Ukraine’s interests and the values of the modern world.
