Ever since the Euromaidan revolution in 2014 Valentyn´s life has been moving in heavy swell. In his hometown Romny, in the North-East of Ukraine he is fighting corrupted politics with unconditional dedication putting up with compromising attacks. With the help of his good friends, clear vision for his society but little budget he takes up the candidature for the countries parliament in 2019. Whenever Valentyn needs a break he gets his self-built Kayak and prepares trying to cross the Black Sea for the third time now

Eva Neidlinger is a documentary and fictional film director, screen writer and producer based in Berlin/Potsdam. She has been studying directing at the Film University Babelsberg KONRAD WOLF since 2017. In her long-lasting, international NGO-work in the field of peace research and conflict management she regularly went to Egypt, Norway and Ukraine. In Ukraine she took part in building an ecological community centre in the region of Poltava. Alongside Eva studied European studies. Her semester abroad she choose to complete in the Ukrainian Catholic University in Lviv. Since the beginning of the full-scale war of Russia against Ukraine Eva is an active member of the newly founded aid organization „Solidarity in Action“. All her experiences and visions are converged in her dedication and passion for film as a form of story-telling and art.
