Rehabilitation of the health of the victims of the armed conflict in the East and the occupation of Crimea: What does the government offer?

Duration
60’
The armed conflict in Eastern Ukraine and the occupation of Crimea have affected the quality of life of many Ukrainians. Some of them did not just lose their homes, but also experienced the deaths of their loved ones or suffered an injury to their health.

Wounds, deteriorating mental health, exacerbation of chronic conditions due to the unavailability of timely help: victims of armed conflict and occupation often have to face these challenges on their own.

In all the years of the war, the public mechanism for helping and rehabilitating the victims of the conflict and occupation has not been established in full.

Is there access to medical services and rehabilitation under the conditions of the armed conflict in Eastern Ukraine and the occupation of Crimea? What steps should the government take to improve the situation?
