The way we treat death or speak about it, or simply if we are capable of discussing it openly and without hysteria defines the maturity of a society. And also the way we define it and who defines it indicates the source of power in the modern world. This year we have three profound films in a festival program which reframes the common notion of “dying”. What does it mean to be “dead” in the 21st century?
