Stories That Move: The opportunities of the new educational online platform

Duration
60’

Several people have asked me, ‘What would you change in your life, if you could?’ They expected me to answer that I would like to walk, but I said I would like not to be so lazy.” This is a quote from Mathei, a teenager with a physical disability. He and his peers from other countries speak about their life experiences for the new education platform Stories That Move. This platform has been created for teachers and parents to help them talk to children and explain to them what discrimination, stereotypes and media literacy are, as well as how to counteract offline and online bullying. Also, video comments from scholars, teachers and researchers explain the mechanisms of discriminatory actions and statements, and tell the audience how to oppose them.
