For a year, Naomi and Edvin film themselves; the result is an intimate and raw portrait of their lives. They meet, fall in love and break up. However they don’t give up on each other, and a unique friendship emerges. Their filming allows us behind the façade of social media - or any other kind. We get to witness the uncensored thoughts of two 20-year-olds about life’s challenges and relationships.

After obtaining a degree in Film and Art History from the Universidad de Nebrija, Madrid, Lina Maria Mannheimer embarked on a Master's and Science programme at the Stockholm School of Economics. She has a Master’s degree from the Gothenburg Film School. Following internships in New York and London, she met the French director Gilles Bourdos (Afterwards, Renoir) and worked as his assistant for a year. In 2009, Mannheimer began working on a documentary The Ceremony. The Contract, her debut film, constituted the first part of The Ceremony. The Ceremony premiered at CPH:DOX 2014 competing for the NORDIC:DOX awards and the Nordic Awards at Göteborg Film Festival, and was selected at SXSW in spring 2015. Mannheimer’s second feature Mating premiered at the Göteborg Film Festival, and was nominated for the Best Nordic Doc’s Award as well as the Nordic:Dox award at CPH:DOX.
