The findings of social surveys are scary for parents: teenagers spend more time on social media than sleeping. You feel like saying, “When I was a kid…”, and asking your child to delete their account. On the other hand, social media offer dozens of opportunities, and terabytes of data fly past us there. So maybe the question is not whether our children need social media, but what do they use them for? In this discussion, you will hear four stories about how social media can become an environment for development and a tool for teenagers to search for opportunities.
