The internet and social media, just like any other technology, can be used in different ways. The internet can help you to find friends, unite communities, organise businesses, support people in trouble. But one can also stalk, bully or blackmail people online. Stalking, online bullying and revenge porn are new forms of very old violence. At this meeting we will discuss the nature of these phenomena, ways to protect yourself against them, and how to oppose them at the wider social level.
