Description: Presentation of the project Dumaidan 2017. The project’s aim is to determine the reasons for misunderstandings between people from different ethnic groups and different cultural backgrounds in Ukraine and to look for the ways to resolve them. In February and March 2017, the creation of the Tent of Understanding started: project participants in different Ukrainian cities sewed it together from colorful patches during masterclasses, discussions of the topic of understanding in our society and ways to improve the situation. After the presentation of the project, there will be an auction to sell the Tent of Understanding and special lots – breakfasts-conversations with famous Ukrainians, intellectuals, philosophers and human rights advocates: Yevhen Bystrytskyi, Yosyf Zisels, Oleksandr Pavlichenko. The money made from the sale of the Tent will be awarded to the Ukrainian human rights film with the best examination of the topic of equality.
