Read the first pitching advise for young filmmakers from Tue Steen Müller:
- remember to be yourself, don’t try to act but be passionate, show that your project is important for you, say why you and this project are together;
- remember that pitching is an invitation that you give to colleagues asking them to hear more and take part in your project;
- remember that pitching has “three legs” - a written text, a visual presentation and you talking, the verbal;
- remember to make the verbal presentation simple and concrete, leave the important aesthetic choices for the meetings you will have.
Two-day seminar will help filmmakers improve their skills and strategies of promoting their projects. All the participants will present their stories at the pitching during Docudays UA festival on March 30th, 2017. The winner selected by the jury of international WARSCAPE competition will be awarded a prize of US $5000.
