Organisers: ICO ‘Environment – People – Law’
As a result of the military conflict, residents of Eastern Ukraine face a number of problems. Apart from direct danger to their lives and health due to the attacks, people are left with an environment that is unfit for their existence. Areas of centuries-old natural reserves are now also under threat, along with their employees. Some reserves and national parks remained torn between government-controlled territories and the self-proclaimed republics. The panel is devoted to the issues of threats to life and health, and how to protect oneself from new environmental threats.
