Monika Willi was born in Innsbruck, Austria in 1968. She is a film editor who has long collaborated with the directors Michael Glawogger and Michael Haneke. She won the Austrian Film Award for Best Editing for The Dead And The Living (dir. Barbara Albert), the Filmplus Editing Award for The White Ribbon and for Thank you for Bombing by Barbara Eder. Untitled is her first film as a co-director.
Kateryna Gornostay was born in 1989 in Lutsk, Ukraine. She received her bachelor’s degree in Natural Sciences specializing in Biology, and her master’s degree in Journalism in the National University of Kyiv-Mohyla Academy. She graduated from the Moscow School of Documentary Film and Documentary Theater founded by Marina Razbezhkina and Mikhail Ugarov, after which she returned to Kyiv. She is currently involved in educational programs about documentaries, and creates documentary and fiction projects.
