The film portrays a giant garage located in the largest Soviet blockhouse area in Tallinn. Here 700 garage owners form an extraordinary men’s club, ranging from those who just keep their cars there to those who adapt their garages for living. The complex is a unique biosphere with the existence of private saunas, a restaurant, an animal clinic, and other artifacts of life stuck in time 20 years back.
Vladimir Loginov was born in 1976 in Tallinn, Estonia. Graduated in sociology from the International University of Social Sciences. Gained additional experience in TV productions, news, and advertising design at BBC’s, Moscow Congress. His filmography includes both short and feature length films. Vladimir’s films have won best short film awards at Kinoshok in Russia and in Armenia, and been picked for East Silver Market.
