Training session ‘From Kennedy to Maidan: the role of video in justice’

Organized by Witness

 

The training will review the practices of efficient and safe filming of violations, the role of video in protecting human rights, the ethical problems of sharing the filmed materials, and the latest technology that now allows community media to play a powerful role in the fight against impunity in many parts of the world.

 

The training is organized by the Witness NGO, which has been working on the crossroads of two fields, filming and human rights advocacy, since 1992.

      Festival Pass

      The festival pass gives access to the rich 21st Docudays UA offline programme, which includes the best documentaries worldwide and meetings with their authors. It is valid from 31 May to 6 June at Zhovten Cinema.

      Find out about the terms of use of the festival pass on the ticket rules page.

      From 3 May:
      Pass price: UAH 800.
      Student pass: UAH 500.

      From 30 May:
      Pass price: UAH 1,200.
      Student pass: UAH 700.

      To purchase the pass, please enter your given name and surname, email, and phone number. If the payment was successful, you will receive an email with the necessary information and a certificate. The certificate will not indicate your name or surname.

      If you are a student at school or university, please indicate your student ID number. Internally displaced persons who are studying and do not have such a document can indicate the IDP certificate number.
