Ukraine’s present looks like the frontline of global confrontation between the machine of the state, corporations, and citizens. Burning tyres and Molotov cocktails, the icons of the Revolution of Dignity, already appeared in 2010 in a small village close to Odesa. Back then, the voice of the community was not heard, and, as a result, peaceful protest against the powerful state energy project turned into violent confrontation. Live Power is a story of the four years of struggle by the inhabitants of Usatove village against the construction of two power lines over their village, funded by the European Bank of Reconstruction and Development. A story with a happy ending.

      Festival Pass

      The festival pass gives access to the rich 21st Docudays UA offline programme, which includes the best documentaries worldwide and meetings with their authors. It is valid from 31 May to 6 June at Zhovten Cinema.

      Find out about the terms of use of the festival pass on the ticket rules page.

      From 3 May:
      Pass price: UAH 800.
      Student pass: UAH 500.

      From 30 May:
      Pass price: UAH 1,200.
      Student pass: UAH 700.

      To purchase the pass, please enter your given name and surname, email, and phone number. If the payment was successful, you will receive an email with the necessary information and a certificate. The certificate will not indicate your name or surname.

      If you are a student at school or university, please indicate your student ID number. Internally displaced persons who are studying and do not have such a document can indicate the IDP certificate number.
