This film is history of director’s life which an author himself tells off screen. Father of Maksym Vasyanovych — musician in provincial philharmonic society — when he was young, most of all wanted to become a conductor of symphonic orchestra, but resigned career for the sake of family. What is the price that artist must pay for opportunity to create? This film is about a choice between life and art. “This is just a little part of my gratefulness to my dad who abandoned his life-dream of becoming a symphonic conductor for my childhood’s sake...”
Maksym Vasyanovych was born in 1983 in Zhytomyr. In 2000—2005 he studied at Karpenko-Kary Kyiv National Theatre, Cinema and Television University (documentary workshop of Oleksandr Koval).
