The French director who dedicated his life to documentary filmmaking shares his experience of participating in the full cycle of documentary activism, from creating critical documentary works to educational screenings in provinces and creating programs for famous film festivals.

During the lecture, Igor Blazevic shares his experience of organizing festivals whose goal is to transform societies which have suffered from dictatorship or conflict. He will talk about how films and film screenings help heal deep social wounds.

The lecture includes examples of successful campaigns and promotional materials as well as the possibility to ask questions about festival submissions, how to work with festivals and the publicity process – whether you do your own promotion or work with a professional publicist.
